Our team of craftsmen envisions and carries out ambitious urban projects on sites that need to be reinvented. We create living and working spaces that are integrated into the city, with a sense of purpose and inspiration. Our projects enrich the urban environment and improve the quality of life for residents and users. In this way, we are helping recast and regenerate neighbourhoods. Every project we undertake is a bespoke one, from design to delivery.
Our vision has been bold ever since Artone was founded: to be pioneers in redeveloping polluted lands or converting buildings, and to design the city’s neighbourhoods of tomorrow with passion. The name “Artone” reflects this ambition. An amalgam of “art” and “one,” it refers to the first art – architecture. Artone embodies the art of shaping urban neighbourhoods with creativity.

Developing projects that make sense
Guided by our ethical and civic sense, we design each project as to have a positive impact on the environment and society. We rehabilitate urban wastelands to redesign the neighbourhoods of tomorrow with quality architecture and a reduced ecological footprint. We develop various projects with a positive impact on society in neighbourhoods in order to meet identified needs.
Supporting the community
We promote collective well-being and mutual aid on our scale. We support local communities in various ways: by making our sites available to associations, supporting culture, sports, and children in need, and offering pro bono services to humanitarian organisations.
Getting organised efficiently
Our governance is based on transparent and effective practices. A board of directors defines the major strategic directions, an investment committee analyses risks during the acquisition phase, and an executive committee manages the company’s projects daily. Our external collaborations with reliable partners, along with our close ties with various stakeholders, ensure the coherence and success of our projects.
In 2023, the Lhoist family joined our shareholders. This collaboration strengthens our Belgian roots and breathes new life into our company, while increasing the capacity to pursue more ambitious new projects.
The composition of our shareholding gives us the means to match our ambitions and makes Artone a reliable partner that honours its commitments.
